Introduced our new (find it at Piano Pronto) game with students today. The competitive spirit was in full force with these two siblings! I will take on older sister on level 5 next week...wish me luck! 😆

We just played primer level to teach students and will advance levels accordingly. It's a fun way to challenge our skills of staff reading and the musical alphabet backward and forward. A nice addition to the use of traditional flashcards and endpess rounds of Note Rush - Music Reading App.

The last lesson before Christmas break is sure to be filled with just a few renditions of Jingle Bells. This, however, is how my first morning session ended, complete with sugar plum fairies dancing about! They had already had their lesson and were keeping busy making snowflakes and eating some cookies. 🤫

I love my beginners, the in-betweens and even later adult learners; pouring all I can into helping develop a love of music..truly a gift.

Fellow worship musicians and beginners! If you are eager to learn, take advantage of quality lessons specific to your needs. Musicademy was out before the current Worship Online or Worship Artistry (which I recommend as well), so some songs may be "dated" but the teaching and techniques stay the same. You can take your chances with YouTube tutorials/covers but don't you want freedom to play beyond individual songs, developing technique and the 'whys'? Go beyond copycat and put your own stamp on songs as you are able. Gotta start somewhere!

We've slashed the prices across the entire DVD range. Everything is 50% to 80% off. Some are titles we have never previously reduced to any significant extent.
