Sunday at Kenedy Baptist Church 🤍
May 31, 2026

What a beautiful day spent worshiping, learning, praying, and fellowshipping together as a church family.

In Sunday School, Brother Joseph taught on the meaning of Christian ministry, the purpose of the church, and the mission God has given every believer. We were reminded that ministry is not only for pastors and missionaries. Every Christian is called to serve, encourage, pray, share the Gospel, and faithfully represent Christ wherever God has placed them.

“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ.” (2 Corinthians 5:20)

Sunday School Takeaways:
-Serve with humility
-Share with boldness
-Shine for Christ

Ministry is not about position.
It is about people.
It is not about recognition.
It is about obedience.

In the Main Service, Brother Rudy took us through the book of Revelation and reminded us to lift our eyes toward heaven. We were encouraged by the truth that God desires people to be saved, that His voice still calls to His people, and that one day the trumpet shall sound. We were reminded that heaven is real, God is on the throne, and He alone is worthy of our worship.

“Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty.” (Revelation 4:8)

Main Service Takeaways:
-Look Up
-Lift Up
-Live Ready

The King is on the throne.
The trumpet will sound.
The church must be ready.

From heartfelt worship and prayer at the altar to seeing families, children, young adults, and seniors gathered together in faith, it was a blessing to witness God’s people growing together.

And of course, after church came one of our favorite parts of the day: food and fellowship! 😊 Swipe to the end to see some smiling faces and sweet moments shared around the table.

If you’re looking for a church family where the Bible is preached, Christ is honored, and people genuinely care for one another, we’d love to welcome you next Sunday at Kenedy Baptist Church.

Before the holiday was spent resting, our church family came together to serve. 🇺🇸🤍

On Memorial Day | May 25, 2026, from morning until noon, members of Marion and Kenedy Baptist Church came together from children to elders with willing hands and joyful hearts to help paint and refresh the front of Kenedy Baptist Church. What a blessing to see different generations serving side by side in unity, love, and fellowship.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
— Galatians 6:9 (KJV)

Today was a beautiful reminder that ministry is not only in preaching, singing, or gathering inside the church but also in serving together with humility, love, and grateful hearts.

As we remember Memorial Day and honor those who served with sacrifice, we are also thankful for the opportunity to serve one another and care for the places God has blessed us with.

From paint brushes to laughter, hard work to sweet fellowship, and a wonderful lunch shared together after, today reflected the beauty of Christian unity and servant hearts.

“By love serve one another.”
— Galatians 5:13 (KJV)

Thankful for every hand that helped, every heart that served, and the joy of doing it together for the glory of God. 🤍

Easter Sunday Church Service | Marion Baptist Church

He is not here. He is risen! (Luke 24:6)

What a beautiful Resurrection Sunday it was..a day filled with worship, joy, and the reminder of the greatest victory of all time.
The cross was not the end… the empty tomb changed everything.

“Because I live, ye shall live also.” (John 14:19)
“But God commendeth His love toward us… Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

From uplifting hymns to sweet fellowship and a joyful time of gathering around food, every moment was a reflection of His goodness and grace. There is something so special about celebrating the risen Savior together as a church family.

The resurrection is more than a moment, it’s our hope, our freedom, and our new life in Christ.

He is risen indeed. 🤍
