Marion is in desperate need of unity, compassion and support. We also need a public platform that can connect us to the things we need - rentals, jobs, city updates & more. A Tornado Watch is in effect until 4AM tonight as a powerful storm system moves in. This same system has already caused major destruction across Arkansas, Missouri, and Indiana, Illinois & Kentucky — with confirmed tornadoes, widespread damage, and power outages.

Good morning, Marion! We have an important weather update for our community today. As I’m sure you all are aware, the National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center has placed our area under a special alert within their latest Tornado Outlook.

Marion falls within the "hatched" zone on the map, indicating not just a chance of tornadoes but an enhanced risk for more severe tornadoes today.

If you're within the red shaded area, there's a 15-29% chance of a tornado occurring within 25 miles of any point. And that hatching? It means there's extra potential for significant tornadoes, with strength ranging from EF2-EF5.
