Sharing for our friends at the Library.
Marion Public Library is again offering its Adult Lifelong Learning (ALL) program, where local residents 18 and older can take classes in a wide variety of subjects. Fourteen classes are finalized to run between October 13 and November 21. The classes typically consist of multiple sessions lasting one hour or more, and will be led by subject-matter experts, educators, and academic faculty.
“The Marion Public Library's mission clearly states we offer lifelong learning opportunities. And with the full slate of classes, we are offering a deeper dive into subjects one might not encounter on their own. Plus, patrons are making healthy social connections,” said Gary Branson, Executive Director of Marion Public Library.
Sample classes include: Birds in Native America, Mathematical Diversions, Murder and Mayhem, Major Pauline Cushman, Bourbon, Tango History and Steps, the Trial of Bill Anderson, and Artifacts from the Silk Road to name a few.
Those interested in participating can register for classes starting September 29 by visiting the front desk of the Marion Public Library. The first two classes are $25 with additional classes $5 each.
