Check it out!
Five months. Five singers. One grand night for a local charity.
Our Sing for a Cause page is live: https://rolos.space/karaokefundraiser
Since May, singers have been taking the stage at Don's Tap on the second Saturday of every month. Bonnie brought Linda Ronstadt. Robert brought Prince. Latishia brought a power ballad that stopped the room. Jase took August with Sam Smith. And Chris, who finished second in June, then July, then August, is coming to the finale as our Wild Card, because three near-misses and a crowd that got louder every single time earned him a spot.
On September 12 at 7:00PM, all five sing one more time. And every dollar raised goes straight to the Open Heart Women's Shelter (with Grant County Rescue Mission Ministry), right here in Grant County. Thirteen dollars and four cents covers one night of safe rest for a woman who has nowhere else to go.
Starting this weekend, there'll be a jar on the bar at Don's Tap for each of the five finalists. Drop cash in for your favorite. Every dollar is a donation in honor of a singer, and the one whose supporters give the most is named Fan Favorite on the night. The judges still decide who wins on the night of the finale.
Can't make it out? The page has a link to donate directly through Grant County Rescue Mission. Every dollar goes to them, not to us. We're just running the sound.
Come sing and have fun with us. 🎤
