I think I've found the best spot to walk at golden hour EVER.

The wildflowers, the sunlight, the beautiful forest, and the best dog ever; all of it came together to make the most magical moment. This walk became a core memory and I will think about it forever. Kipo and I have made a lot of those together❤️

It truely did feel like we teleported to a new fantasy world. The ferns and flowers we so tall! There was so much wildlife around too! Bird song filled the air and added so much to the ambiance.

When the bugs go away a bit, we will definitely be back. That's the only con of finding such hidden gems.

And he is THRILLED!!! You gotta swipe to see how happy he is with himself. It's a contagious surge of dopamine.

I think this is the first time he's gone and gotten into the water to retrieve anything! He's stepped in up to his knees, but going after something??? NEVER (I don't think)! He may have done that one other time. This is a HUGE step for him!

I'm so proud if this big man. He still never fails to impress or surprise me.

I hope this is the start of a very fun summer! Cooling off in the water will be so fun on our upcoming camping trips.

Now.... suggest your favorite 'on the go' Collie drying tips! We dont have a high velocity dryer....

Moro is teaching Kipo the ways of being comfy on the bed. For his entire 3 years, Kipo hasn't really liked being up there. But since the girl has been with us, he's been up with us several times! That's really different for him, and he doesn't even leave when I move my legs slightly like usual! ❤️

Now I wish he would show her that Squishmallows are NOT for doggos. Idk how, but Kipo knew that right away. He never chewed up anything, even to this day. Not Moro though. She's already eaten one and I was not very impressed by that. 😂😂

I knew he would love having a sibling, but seeing it unfold in real time is so sweet. They're always snuggling or playing with each other and I just hope they're always going to be buddies. They still have so much ti learn from each other.

We found the most magical place in our local park last night!
The flowers were in full bloom and the lighting was absolutely perfect.

I was hiking with a friend of mine and he has a VERY nice professional camera. When he asked to take pictures of Kipo here I literally squeed with glee.

They came out SO GOOD! These really emphasize the whimsical vibes this place was putting out. Im so glad we got and walked here despite the bugs and mosquitoes being unbearable.

If you stopped for more than a second you would be SWARMED by the bloodsuckers. But besides that, it was a great time!

MORO LOVES BUBBLES!!

It's SO CUTE!

Kipo also really liked bubbles as a puppy, but he grew out of it. I hope Moro doesn't. It's a great serotonin producer of an activity😂

Kipo isn't much of a water dog, but I convinced him to get his toes wet for a photo😂

This is one a trail we come to an lot. It's the perfect spot to let the dogs dip their dogs in the water and practice those water confidence skills. The river is quiet and this area is nice and shallow since they use it for sending out kayaks sometimes.

I am DETERMINED to have Moro become a water dog. She has such a natural curiosity for everything and I think with some encouragement and treats we can totally get her swimming! Today was not that day though.

Each day brings us closer to our camping trip in June and I am getting more and more hyped as they pass by. Moro has been working really hard on her heel and stay so hiking can hopefully be a bit easier, and Kipo is also working on his heel for the same reason. They're going to be the best trail dogs!

Happy Weekend Y'all! Sundays are honestly my favorite day of the week because it's GAME DAY! I always get to see my best friends on Sunday and we play DnD. There's usually food, fantasy, and lots of fun.

Wish us luck! Hopefully the dice roll in our favorite!
