Sometimes growth doesn't look like moving forward. Sometimes growth looks like resting.

Sometimes it looks like healing, grieving, saying no, starting over, or simply making it through the day when nobody else sees the battle you're fighting.

We often think we have to be doing more, achieving more, and becoming more.

But what if this season is teaching you that your worth was never tied to your productivity?

You don't have to earn your value. You don't have to prove your purpose. You don't have to have it all figured out.

Take a deep breath. The same God who planted the seed knows how to grow it.

Keep showing up. Keep taking the next step. Keep believing that what feels unfinished today is still becoming something beautiful tomorrow.

Life’s been full lately, not in a neat, organized kind of way.

Just real life. Busy. Growing in ways that aren’t always comfortable, and sometimes a little messy.

But that doesn’t mean nothing’s changing.
Progress is still happening, even here.

We don’t need to have it all together for our growth to count.

Small steps are still steps.
Quiet growth is still growth.

Keep going.

Stepping out of my comfort zone a little to share some really exciting news!

Joy Revived is officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Saying that out loud still feels unreal. (I may have cried a little 🫣)

What started as a calling on my heart is now becoming a reality, and I could not be more grateful for every person who has encouraged me, prayed for this, and believed in the mission from the beginning.

We are just getting started, and I cannot wait to share more about what is ahead and the lives we hope to impact.

It’s January 5.
And if you already feel behind, tired, or a little off, this is for you.

If the motivation didn’t magically kick in.
If the excitement faded faster than you expected. If you told yourself you’d feel different by now, but you don’t.

You’re not failing. You’re not broken. You’re not late.

The new year doesn’t require you to have a plan, a word, or your whole life mapped out. It doesn’t demand instant discipline or constant momentum.

Sometimes January is just about exhaling.
About unclenching your jaw and giving yourself permission to move slower without guilt.

At Joy Revived, we’re not forcing growth this year.

We’re choosing honesty over hustle.
We’re choosing grace over pressure.
We’re choosing progress that feels steady, not stressful.

So if today feels quiet, messy, or unfinished, let it. You are still becoming, even when nothing feels flashy yet.

Prayer for 2026

Hey beautiful! Before we rush into plans, goals, and expectations, let’s pause for a minute. We’re leaving behind the weight we were never meant to carry. The fear that kept us playing small. The pressure to be everything for everyone except ourselves.

For 2026, we’re praying for clarity when life feels loud, courage when doubt shows up uninvited, and peace that stays, even when things aren’t perfect.

For goals that feel aligned, not forced. For healing that doesn’t rush but actually lasts. For strength to try again, even if you’re tired.

Let this be the year we stop shrinking to make others comfortable. The year honesty replaces pretending. The year we build safe spaces where women can breathe, heal, and belong.

If you’re reading this, hear me and say this out loud.
You’re allowed to grow without explaining yourself.
You’re allowed to rest without earning it.
You’re allowed to say yes to you.

2026 is about reviving what felt lost, thriving instead of just surviving, and choosing the life you’ve quietly been hoping for.

We’re stepping forward gently, but on purpose. Together.

You were made for more.

A special thank you to the Marshall County Art Guild for organizing such a wonderful Christmas Bazaar.

Thank you to the Little Bird Bloom at 146 E Commerce St (former Rambo Glass Co.) for donating a $30 floral and boutique gift certificate, and to Mama Shan’s Sweet Treats for blessing us with a specialty cake and desserts gift certificate. Your support helps us continue uplifting and encouraging our community.

Joy Revived had an amazing first fundraising event at the MCAG Christmas Bazaar!

Thank you to everyone who donated, stopped by, and showed love to Joy Revived. Your support made the day a wonderful success.

Our Affirmation Station received a lot of compliments too. A few ladies snapped the cutest selfies and we were able to share the heart and mission of Joy Revived with people who were genuinely excited to learn more.

A special shoutout to Little Bird Bloom and Mama Shan’s Sweet Treats for their generous door prize donations. Your kindness added so much joy to the event.

And I have to brag on Caiden’s Crochet because he sold every single pot holder. He showed up, showed out, and absolutely crushed it!

Your girl is tired now but oh so grateful.
We raised $250 and were able to shine a light on Joy Revived’s mission in a powerful way. ♥️
