Vikings head to Nebraska for week two matchup

The head-coaching debut of LaQuentin Black was a successful one last Saturday, as the Vikings overcame a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit and eventually held off the visiting Clarke Pride 28-24 on Gregg-Mithcell Field in Marshall.
The Vikings head north and west to Nebraska to tangle with the Peru State Bobcats in week two, Saturday, Sept. 13.
The Bobcats dropped their season opener 10-9 on their home field to Panhandle State (Okla.) on Aug. 30, but rebounded to even their overall mark at 1-1 with a 31-17 home victory over the Baker Wildcats last Saturday.
Kickoff is 6 p.m. at the Oak Bowl.
