🚨LONG POST INCOMING! (2024 UPDATE)🚨
Alrighty ya'll, I'm getting married to my high school sweetheart in under 2 days time. We are going on 10 years together. Needless to say s**t has been rather hectic as of late. BUT I got some good news! Not to long ago I sat down with Tom from On Hiatus & Agony Of Defeat. And we sat down and conversated for around an hour. So be on the lookout for that in the coming weeks!
This interview specifically is in regards to On Hiatus, and we experimented with a more podcast style of video. So I would love any feedback after the video gets posted.
I've just been doing some spot editing. And I truly do apologize for the lack of content as of late. But I am really looking forward to putting more content out there for 2024, and I would love to sit down and chat with more awesome people in the Iowa music scene bc Iowa is truly home to some very talented people, and they deserve to get more eyes on them and there work. The way I see it, even if I reach 1 person that had never heard of someone before seeing one of my videos, and they become a fan. That to me is a success. But its not something I wanna just settle for by any means. I wanna do better, be better, and thats the goal.
And some of you may know, some might not, but I am a very introverted and antisocial type of cat. And so going forward, I'm really going to be trying to break out of my shell a lot more, and tbh, its scary, it is. But I just want to learn. Learn more about interviewing, and talking. More about bands, and peoples back story. And who they are, you know? I want to improve and be able to have relationships with a bunch of rad & creative fu***ng people. And hopefully showcase them any way that I can.
All of that plays into the reason why I am doing this. And I would love for you all to come along with me on this journey, and lets see what the future holds, shall we? But please know, I'm human so I'm sure I'll make plenty of mistakes down the road, bc I am nowhere near perfect, so please don't expect perfection. But I do promise to try, and to give you guys my absolute best.
