Sometimes Cost and Worth are two very different things. Every single time I've walked up to talk with CEO Trevo Bonnstetter, which has been many times, he didn't just walk away or make up some excuse. This man listened and held a conversation till I was finished talking. That is an admirable quality. Mr. Bonnstetter would make a good politician some day, if he ever decided to pursue it, on that basis alone. He put a $100.00 dollar bill in my fundraiser jar when I raised money to buy Ms. Lou Ann Powers a new sign, and he did it not to gain favor over me, but because he said he grew up with nothing. When WK&T gave us 3 months free internet, my Mother had misplaced the password to connect to the internet. It was very late and I was unable to get the password that night, but as soon as mourning hit WK&T called me bright and early. Let me say that again; they called me, I didn't have to call them. The matter was resolved, and that was outstanding customer service. Trevor Bonnstetter and his employees have did the leg work driving mile after mile because of the potiential he sees not only in his company, but in our county as well. When Frontier Communications was ripping off my Mother on her phone bill, I went down to Martin trying to see if Charter would come to Dresden. I was ignored and scuffed off by one of Charter's employees, and this was before WK&T came to our county. For Weakley County Citizens on a tight budget, you can have tv, interent, and a house phone using WK&T's cheapest internet plan. How may you ask? First you pay $89.99 for the internet so theirs your internet. Second you can buy a cheap smartphone and get a free phone number through the internet and theirs your house phone. Lastly, with a smart tv you can get a roku stick and theirs your tv. This is where cost and worth come into play. The cost may be higher then some of the commissioners like, but it doesn't matter because we will easily make our money back and a lot more. This is where cost and worth are two very different things sometimes. The character CEO Trevor Bonnstetter of WK&T has shown towards me and my county is worth more then the cost. It's of my opinion, and that is my first amendment right, that the Weakley County Commissioners should vote for WK&T. Let the TVA and Weakley County Electric Company stick with doing electricity, and let WK&T handle our internet.
