We are excited to announce Courtney Berrier as our newest Artist Advocate Member, as well as our Artist of the Month.

Courtney is a nurse, writer, and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Lexington, NC, where she resides with her two young daughters. In addition to her current role as case manager at Wake Forest Baptist Health, she is the founder of Nichols Knows Books, a self-publishing services company dedicated to helping writers bring their stories to life. Her poetry book, Drop the Facade, released in October of this year and her novel, Peace & Drowning, is slated to release at the end of 2026.

Courtney is also hosting the Writing Workshop presented by Lexington Book Festival & Arts Davidson County THIS SATURDAY at 1pm at Arts Theatre 202

You guys…the proofs came in and I am just amazed at seeing my book in print! It’s not perfect and I’m going to have to test out a few more printers but y’all…I did it! 😍 And the Ebook is done and ready to be released Thursday. Everyone that buys a book at the release ($15) will be getting a special first copy and will also get the final print when they’re in. Two for the price of one! 🤗 I cannot wait to see everyone on Thursday, Jimmy’s Bar, 6pm!
