I have made the decision to open up ordering to a few countries on an experimental basis based on site traffic. Those in Canada, the UK + Ireland and Australia can now place orders with FRM. I need to do some digging to see if it is worthwhile to open up to the EU countries with the changing policies there.

And the P1 Max has arrived now as well!! 1kg bottle of Siraya Tech for scale 😅. I'm stoked to get this thing dialed in. 14" screen with a 25x25 micron resolution. I'll be a fan of square pixel screens until I die. I was hoping that someone would put out a sub 20 micron square machine but this will do to retire my M3 Premium. I'm not sure where I'll put my other Mono 4 Ultra now. I may just have to run them front to back. I really need another bench to actually have room to do any actual building.

My new Anycubic P1 Max got delayed until Monday but the new Wash and Cure 3 Max did show up. It's a big ole honkin' beast. This'll handle those large scale prints from the Model Behavior side and the pro-touring frames coming down the pike nicely.

I'm putting a poll out here to you, my followers, looking on input on which group of kit-specific pro-touring chassis to focus on first. These will be similar in theme to those produced for a good long while by shops like Roadster Shop featuring an independent 9" Ford rear end, modern era Corvette A-arms front and rear, coil overs and rack and pinion steering. Once I get basic front and rear cradles lined out, it should be fairly simple to build up the frame rails to tie them together.

My personal short list includes:

-Revell '68/'69 C3 Vette tooling which by extension would also be quite easy to tweak for the Revell '67 C2 Vette as they are very similar in 1:1

-Revell '69 Camaro

-Revell '69 Mustang

Those unibody cars would be converted to full frame much as the current aftermarket frames do.

So, let me hear it. What subjects would you like to see?

I took this transition opportunity to recalibrate my now 2 Mono 4 Ultras to run .02mm layer heights to even further reduce any layer lines and improve surface finish. I know that Russ has set a very high bar in that regard. It does add a bit more cycle time to the process but the results, I believe, are worth it. I also have one of the new Anycubic P1 Max printers due to be delivered shortly that I can dedicate to the majority of the large scale work. It will be dialed in to match. I have some preliminary work sketched up on a few kit specific Roadster Shop style pro-touring chassis swaps that I hope to be announcing soon that would also be perfect to run on the newer, larger machine.

I am honored that Russ chose to approach me about the possibility of carrying the torch for Model Behavior going forward. I will do everything in my power to uphold the legacy that he has built over the years. I am extremely excited to maintain his portfolio, add new offerings and for the synergy that it presents with Fenix Racing Modelworks products.

Big news update

The process has begun and is well underway. That being said, to ensure that all goes as smoothly as possible we have decided to push back the announcement to the public until this Thursday. Stay tuned!!!

Man, I cannot wait for Monday and the big announcement!!!

A quite tedious process but well worth it for the results.
