The Northwest Missourian and Tower Yearbook brought home more than 40 awards from the annual Missouri College Media Association contest this week. Our student journalists are the best in the state, as these awards attest.

The Northwest Missourian was named the best college newspaper in the state of Missouri by the Missouri College Media Association (MCMA) annual awards April 7 during a virtual awards ceremony on Facebook.

Happy day before Valentine's Day! Today's Northwest Missourian is all dolled up for the holiday, but it's still filled with news you need to know.

The city's water problems remain unsolved, a devoted Bearcat for nearly half a century gets his due, and Bearcat Athletics have another successful week. Plus, everyone's favorite, the weekly police blotter!

Stop by Media Day between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Student Union to grab a copy and listen to X-106 KZLX-FM. If you can't make that, we have racks in every building on campus, so be sure to pick one up on your way to class.
