Connoisseur Media Announces Return of Bob Fisher to Radio Stations

Bringing Local News & Sport to the Air in North-Central Iowa
Mason City, IA and Westport, CT (November 25, 2025) - Connoisseur Media is proud to announce that award-winning North-Central Iowa news and sports broadcaster Bob Fisher returns to radio stations AM-1300 KGLO, AM-1490 & 96.7-FM KRIB, Star 106 (KLSS), 93.9 The Country Moose (KIAI), and Super Hits 102.7 (KYTC), located in Mason City.
Fisher begins immediately in the position of News & Sports Director with the Connoisseur Media stations and will also be hosting “The KGLO Morning Program” from 6:00-9:00 AM weekdays on KGLO, providing full-service news and community information to the area. In addition, listeners can look forward to hearing their local news and sports updates on all stations at the top of the hour weekdays in morning drive 6am, 7am, 8am, 12pm noon, and PM Drive at 4pm and 5pm as of December 1st.
Fisher a Mason City native has been in radio in the Mason City area full-time since 1995. He will continue his current role as the primary play-by-play voice for Clear Lake High School sports broadcasts, which will return to the airwaves on AM-1490 & 96.7-FM KRIB.
Fisher has received over 100 awards for news and sports broadcasting from the Iowa Broadcast News Association, including being a multiple winner of the organization’s Overall Excellence Award, the highest achievement for small market radio news broadcasting.
