As seen in last week's Puncher Pride Booster Pages, Every week we will have new photos of Band members, Cheerleaders, Fans, and Football players during the pep rallies and Football game.

Our new addition is "Meet the Puncher" article written by Mason Cowgirl Hannah McFarland: where a new player is introduced and you can learn more about the player. Last week's Meet the Puncher player was Jaxson Reichenau.

Also check out each week the new Player of the Week that is sponsored by The Commercial Bank Mason Texas and chosen by the Coaches. Last week's Player of the Week was Slade Buell.

A message from The Texas Gun & Knife Show about the cancellation of their Kerrville event and how you can help the flood victims. Additional contact numbers are Reunification Intake Hotline (830-258-1111) and all other missing persons (830-257-8181).

To our incredible Texas Gun and Knife Show community and family.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of the Texas Gun and Knife Show scheduled for July 12-13, 2025, at the Happy State Bank Expo Hall in Kerrville, Texas. The devastating floods that struck Kerr County and the Texas Hill Country on July 4, 2025, have left our community reeling from an unimaginable loss of life. Our thoughts and our Prayers are with the families, friends, and loved ones affected by this catastrophic event.
The strength and resilience of our close-knit community inspire us all, and we lift up in prayer the tireless first respondersβ€”hundreds of personnel from the Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas National Guard, U.S. Coast Guard, and local agenciesβ€”who have rescued over 850 people and continue their brave efforts. We pray for their safety, strength, and endurance as they work tirelessly to bring hope and healing.
We urge our community to channel all available resourcesβ€”time, donations, and supportβ€”to the organizations leading the rescue and recovery efforts.
Below are vetted organizations actively providing relief to those impacted by the floods:
1. Community Foundation of Texas Hill Country - The Kerr County Flood Relief Fund supports relief and rebuilding in Kerrville, Ingram, Hunt, Center Point, and Comfort. All donations are tax-deductible. Donate Here https://www.communityfoundation.net/
2. Texas Search and Rescue - This nonprofit first responder organization is conducting critical search, rescue, and recovery operations in Kerr County.
Support their efforts https://www.texsar.org/
3. The Salvation Army Kerrville - The Salvation Army Kerrville, at The Kroc Center located at 855 Hayes St. in Kerrville https://www.salvationarmyusa.org/tx/kerrville/

4. The American Red Cross -South and Central Texas
https://www.redcross.org/local/texas/central-and-south-texas.html
We encourage everyone to follow the City of Kerrville’s official page for updates on how to help and to stay informed about volunteer opportunities. Let us come together in prayer, compassion, and action to support Kerrville’s recovery. Together, we can help rebuild and restore hope.
With deepest sympathy and unwavering support,
Janice Hill

Hello Masonites,
the Mason County News wants to apologize for our mistake in this week's edition #19. The correct paragraph for Salutatorian reads as follows:

The Salutatorian of the Mason High School Class of 2025 is John Preston Parrish. He is the son of Tammy and Michael Parrish. He has one sibling: T. Martin Parrish. John Preston will attend Texas A&M and pursue a degree in Forensic Science and law degree. He intends to join the Corps of Cadets and the Aggie Band.
