Life-long friends and Massillon City Schools classmates Matt Fechter, WHS-TV Alum Matthew J. Ferrell, Jeff Timmons, Dave Feller, WHS-TV Alum Brian Waggoner and Craig Fechter together again!

Jeff is being honored this week as one of eight WHS Distinguished Citizens for his accomplishments in the areas of music and entertainment. Jeff graduated from WHS in 1991 and is the founder of music supergroup 98 Degrees.

The winner will be announced during the Canton Symphony Orchestra's March 5th concert, Celebration of the CSO!

These awards recognize public, private, and parochial Art and Music Educators in the region served by the Stark County Educational Service Center who have positively impacted their students and communities, and who have shown great dedication to the field of Art and Music Education. The awards are presented in partnership with the Canton Museum of Art, Massillon Museum and Canton Symphony Orchestra.
