This week, backpacks and other carrying bags will not be permitted inside the High School. Please do not bring these bags or else they may be seized by the school.
All outdoor activities will be canceled tomorrow district-wide. This is due to the unsafe air quality conditions currently and the predicted AQI levels for tomorrow. As of 5:30 PM, the AQI for our location is 262 (Very Unhealthy).
Health officials are now recommending that residents wear masks (N95 or N99) when outside.
People with heart or lung disease, older adults, children and teens:
- Avoid physical activities outdoors.
Everyone else:
- Avoid strenuous outdoor activities.
- Keep outdoor activities short.
- Consider moving physical activities indoors or rescheduling them.
Our DMs will be open for any questions.
All outdoor activities are canceled district-wide for the remainder of the day. This is because of the unhealthy air quality levels due to the Canadian wildfire smoke. The Air Quality Index (AQI) is ranging from 150-200 which is unhealthy.
People with heart or lung disease, older adults, children and teens:
- Avoid strenuous outdoor activities.
- Keep outdoor activities short.
- Consider moving physical activities indoors or rescheduling.
Everyone else: Choose less strenuous activities, shorten the amount of time you are active outdoors, or be active outdoors when air quality is better.
