The high school talent show will take place on Tuesday, April 8th, from 12:30-2:15! Tickets will be sold for $5 outside the 3 West office, and Monday is the last day to buy tickets! We look forward to seeing you there!

Seniors, we’re making a video to celebrate our time at William Floyd—submit your favorite photos and videos from elementary through high school. Show off your friendships, memories, and school spirit. Link in bio to submit. Deadline: June 1, 2025

Due to the anticipated weather conditions, the William Floyd School District will operate on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, February 12. The Floyd Academy will also operate on a two-hour delayed schedule. Please be safe!

Additional information:

Students who take a bus to school should report to their bus stops two hours later than their normal time.
Students who are dropped off or take their own transportation should report to school two hours later than their normal time.
All high school and middle school students will report to their first period class upon arrival and periods will be slightly shortened in order for students to attend every class.
Breakfast and lunch will be served.
Schools will be dismissed at their regular times.
After-school activities are expected to take place as scheduled. Please check with your child’s coach or advisor for specific programs.
All before-school activities and clubs will be canceled.
UPK: Please check directly with your child’s UPK teacher or provider for information as UPK programs operate on a separate schedule.
William Floyd High School Equivalency Program (GED) will be canceled.
Occupational Education program at Milliken Technical Center and Bixhorn Technical Center will be canceled. (Students attending these programs should be looking for the bus starting at 10:15 am for an 11:15 am arrival at the high school).
Floyd Academy Interim Placement will run as normal.
If anything changes (such as a delayed opening becoming a closing), the community will be notified in a timely
