Thank you to all the girls who showed up, all the parents that helped and all the volunteers/ coaches!

It was such a blessing to see the smiles on all the girls faces today! ♥️😊

Congratulations to Matoaca 18U on the first TWO WINS of the season last night!! What a great start! 💪🏼 🥎

As the 2025 season comes to an end for 8u, 10u and 12u I just have to give a couple shout outs to these girls on this 8u team!

For most of this 8u team it was their first ever season playing. They stepped on the field terrified day 1!

The last two games they all acted like they have been playing ball their entire lives!! It was incredible to watch!

Last game we had my girl Ny & Lilliana get a DOUBLE play! A double play in 8u is insane!!! 😳

We had Emma & Brinlee get their very first outs EVER!!!

Tonight we had Taylin get her very first out & Luna girl get her very first out!!!

Although all of these girls deserve shout outs because they all have done incredible this season I felt it was important to share this with you because Matoaca is STILL rebuilding the association and we may have not won many games as a league this season…..

BUT

Whats most important to me is the confidence and resilience we’re building back into this association and these young ladies!!!

A win doesn’t always matter if the girls are not learning and don’t feel confident in themselves and get a pat on the back when they show up like this!

Way to go girls!!!
