Cut it loose.

You all know me. I call out corruption when I see it. What happened last night in Ann Arbor was exactly that.

THEY DID NOT FIND THAT SECOND FOR THE RULE BOOK.

They found it because a 27 point favorite cannot lose to Western Michigan in the Big House on national television.

WMU had them beat. Four field goals. They owned the line. They owned the clock. Players were already on the field celebrating. The broadcast clock hit zero. Then replay discovered a left foot, a strobe synced camera, and one more second.

That is not officiating. That is protecting the product.

Michigan football ticket sales hit 67 million last year. The Big Ten media deal is worth over a billion dollars a year. A single Week 1 loss does not rip those contracts up. The tickets for last night were already sold. The TV money was already locked. College football as a whole would not go broke if the Broncos walked out of Ann Arbor with a win.

What they could not afford was the stain.
An 0 and 1 start in a new coach’s debut against a MAC team as a four touchdown favorite kills the ranking overnight. Playoff talk dies in September. Donors get quiet. Recruits notice. Networks notice who they put in prime time later. That brand is what justifies the 67 million at the gate and the billion dollar TV checks. That is what they saved with one second.

WMU got paid 1.5 million to show up and almost steal the night. Then the night got stolen back.

These kinds of messages always land right when they are supposed to.

Brad and Gay Bechtel from Brown City sent this High Country Beard Oil along with a handwritten note and Romans 8:28. Their son and daughter in law run Hart Barber Shop up in Hart, north of Grand Rapids, and started the oil themselves. I had just shaved the beard, so I guess it is time to grow it back out.

“You are truly a gifted leader.” That is what they wrote. I do not take words like that lightly. Real people, real families, real Michigan grit.

That is the spirit we have been fighting to protect.

One side still believes in God, family, truth, and borders. The other side calls all of that hate and works every day to wipe it out.

Personal faith is not the same as political Islam. Most Muslims just want to worship, work, and live under the same laws as everyone else.

A smaller current wants Sharia over the Constitution, speech laws dressed up as Islamophobia, and mass migration instead of assimilation.

Europe already paid that bill. The UK jails people for posts. Open borders are the delivery system.

I have been in the Muslim community. There are great conservative people there. There are also dirty actors. Judge the record, not the smile. Abdul El Sayed may sound good on camera, but don’t forget he believes in pushing open doors, abolishing ICE, and campaigning with a Marxist.

That is a Trojan horse. Treat it like one.

America does not bow. You come here, you assimilate to us.

Close the border. Pause the pipeline. Keep the country we inherited.

He told you not to ask questions. Then he sat in that chair and pleaded the Fifth. The shot did not give America immunity. It gave one man a pardon and the rest of the country a five year lesson in what the nanny state does when you hand it your mind.

I reject that system. A free people do not need handlers, mandates, or permission to think. Men are not found in government programs. They are forged to stand up against every enemy, foreign and domestic, including the ones who wear a lab coat and hide behind a presidential auto pen.

Michigan Democrats nominated a man who looked a Republican opponent in the eye in 2018 and told him Muslims definitely hate you.

Not a stray remark in a basement. Not some edited gotcha. A public forum. A fellow candidate. Abdul El Sayed said it out loud and kept moving.

Eight years later he is standing on stages with Hasan Piker, the streamer who said America deserved 9/11.

El Sayed did not cut him loose. He called the line dumb only after the cameras got hot. That is not leadership. That is damage control.

This is the ticket they are selling Michigan. Contempt first. Distance later. Dignity for everyone except the people he just accused of being hated.

Play the clip. Do not let them bury it. Michigan does not owe him a Senate seat. America does not owe him the benefit of the doubt.

Getting sporty out here. 😂 Between the death threats and some of the crazy homeless folk around Kalamazoo, I’ve learned a long time ago that I’m responsible for my own safety.

I don’t go looking for trouble, I don’t threaten people, and I pray I never have to defend myself or anyone I love.

But to the crazies who think threats, intimidation, or violence are going to make me afraid, you picked the wrong guy.

I refuse to live in fear, I refuse to be intimidated, and I refuse to be an easy victim. As Doc Holliday said, “I’m your huckleberry.”

I protect myself, I protect my family, and if I’m ever forced to defend my life or others, I will….. in a heartbeat.
