Hey people, it’s Prescott. It’s about time I showed my face around here. The additional faces included are my wife, Jenna, and our boy, Harlan. We’ve had an adventurous few years: Harlan was born in 2020, we moved from CA to NC in 2021 (best decision ever), and for 2022….I renovated our backyard forest into a beautiful forested lawn. Ok, maybe that’s just me getting excited about my newest hobby. Such a dad move.
I just wrapped up my 2022 season and it was probably my favorite year yet. I got to meet so many wonderful couples and spend a few days with them capturing the start of their great adventure together. I feel privileged to have a job that allows me to travel all around the country telling the amazing stories of these couples and create something that is truly important to them and their families. This year was also a much better year managing the travel schedule, which I (and Jenna) am pretty thankful for haha.
I’ve been filming weddings for 10 years now and more than ever I am realizing what a cool little niche industry and career this is. With the downtime (from filming) this winter, I’m pretty stoked to dive into building a few visions I’ve had for this business. Got some new work to share I’m proud of, some new branding on the way, a new website (hopefully), and a few new projects I am looking forward to creating.
OH! And just in case you’ve made it this far…the thing I’m most excited for is welcoming our second child into the world next Spring! Let’s freaking go! The Carolina kid will be joining us in May 🙌
