What a beautiful time we had today at our Family Walk/Hike with Greater Gathering Church.

We began by stretching, praying, and receiving a brief but powerful word from Pastor Commodore on walking by faith. It was a sweet time of fellowship, fresh air, encouragement, and community.

One of the beautiful testimonies shared afterward was from who attended and expressed how much she enjoyed the fellowship, laughter, prayer, and even the latte afterward. She especially blessed by the reminder that:

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7

We thank God for every person who came out and shared in this meaningful moment with us. God is gracious and kind.

And now, as we prepare our hearts for the 1st Wednesday of the month, we invite you to join us for our Time of Consecration.

Our consecration begins eyes shut Tuesday night and continues until Wednesday at 6 PM, followed by Corporate Prayer together as a church on Wednesday (01/03) at 7 PM EST via YouTube.

Let’s continue to seek the Lord together in prayer, fasting, and faith.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

On this Memorial Day, Greater Gathering Church remembers our fallen heroes with gratitude, humility, and prayer. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. ❤️ 🤍 💙

📖 “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13 🙏🏽

Today, we honor those who laid down their lives for the sake of others.We remember their courage.We remember their sacrifice.We remember their service.

May we never forget the price that was paid.

As we continue recognizing Mental Health Awareness Month, Greater Gathering Church is creating space for an important and much-needed conversation.

On Monday, May 18th at 7 PM, streaming on YouTube & Facebook, Dr. Kristen Hunt, a licensed mental health therapist, will be joining us to teach on:

Last week, Greater Gathering Church had the honor of serving in our community during Teacher Appreciation Week and Nurse Appreciation Week.

We were blessed to serve the staff of Mauldin Elementary and the nurses of Bon Secours, and we do not take lightly the opportunity to pour into those who serve others every day.

We also want to give a special shout out to all military spouses as Military Spouse Appreciation Day was Friday, May 8th.

Pastor Commodore is retired military, and Lady T served as a military spouse for many years. We understand the sacrifice, strength, and commitment it takes not only from the service member, but also from the husband or wife who holds it down at home so their spouse can serve our country.

Thank you to everyone who gave, served, and helped make Serve Week happen.

And a big shout out to all those sowed into and this initiative and to for partnering with GGChurch to make it all possible. If you’re in Greenville, you must check them out!

We believe this is what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus. ❤️
