Something very special took place this week. Here are some pics from day 1. Day 1 was all background vocal work. Crazy talented singers across the board. Pics from day 2 are somewhere… I gotta find them 🫣. Day 2 was all Lead vocal tracking. Kristin Jones, this is a special song. Harold Wade smh….. that’s all I’m going to say for now. Oh yeah… those WA-8000 🎤mics that I mentioned a few months ago are just great. Great. Great. Ran them through my chain… and made them even better. This is my second project with them on the stand….

With all the sudden reemergence of the MPC popularity...I wanted to bring this up and maybe help some folks out... You guys should look into the new generation MPC units. 👀. I don't know when the 2000XL prices went back up, paying $700/$800+ for one of those units is MADD crazy considering the used or even NEW price of the more current models. ... I saw some used XL units today for over $1000.... smh - Just doesn't make sense to buy one of the old ones with possible varied output issues or even the pads being worn...🤦🏾 And worry with repairs and parts for 20+ year old units. The new ones bring a lot to the table that the old ones don't even come close to. For example: Faster workflow, interface, connectivity... Sound module for keyboard players🫣😳 (whole separate conversation).

If y'all are going to follow the masses, I thought you should at least be informed... If you have a classic already, then cool - rock it!!! But if you are grabbing one because of the recent videos by John Mike & Michael Bereal.... Look into the new models. You will be pleasantly surprised for what all you get under the hood.
