Great cause - here's how you can help! It is Domestic Voilence Awreness Month. Danielle Pickney from Hope House came out to invite us all out to Gravity Box on Thursday, October 9th for Bingo Night to help raise funds to help victims of Domestic Violence.

Please note!

On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, the southbound outer lane of Union St, between State St and Madison St, will be closed for utility repairs. The inside southbound lane will remain open, but drivers should expect delays in the area. Work will start shortly after 8 a.m. and is expected to finish by mid-afternoon. For questions, please contact Mauston City Hall at 608-847-6676. A map showing the closure area is included below.

This sweet orange kitten was relinquished to us because he was part of an accidental litter which led to too many kittens in the home.

Did you know an un-spayed female cat can have over 100 kittens in her lifetime? 😳 That’s a LOT of cats—and their litters can multiply even more! That’s why spaying and neutering is so important—but it’s also an expense we work hard to cover.

🍝 Join us for our “Spay-ghetti Dinner” on Wednesday, October 29th from 5–8 PM at the Mauston American Legion!
Dinner is catered by The Pig Pen, LLC, and every dollar raised goes directly toward the cost of spay/neuter surgeries for animals like Pumpkin and his mom.

💛 Tickets MUST be purchased by October 15th so our caterers can prepare—dine-in and carry-out options are both available!
