The Evolution of Dr Fever
How did the man, the myth, the legend - Dr Fever come about? Well it’s a long story, but basically it started with a guy who just loved LOTS of music. Starting out with just a small house stereo and and a HUGE pile of CD’s... Dr Fever was playing for family and friends.
Wanting to branch out to do weddings and other events after hearing his cousin paid $800 for the DJ at his wedding, and that was for 5 hours of play time --- Dr Fever knew he could deliver the tunes but at a much more affordable fee.... so Mrs Fever went shopping!! And purchased the first set of equipment, and Dr Johnny Fever Productions was formed.
Who is Dr Johnny Fever? Well, you have to be a child raised in the 70’s or 80’s to even know, but he was a TV character who had a lot of the same characteristics that Dr Fever has -- likes to sleep, have some frosty cold ones, and sometimes runs from the phone police... and knows that the word BOOOOOGGGERR should not be said during announcements but HEY sometimes it needs to be said.
The Doctor and Mrs Fever have DJ’d at a lot of places, from bars to barns, in the middle of a field on a generator to RAGBRAI in the park, we have seen it all and had a blast while doing it. Our main mission is to give you the tunes at a reasonable price and make sure everyone has fun.
