The radio station is fine. We are still on the air and broadcasting updates as they come in. Since the internet is also down, our phone will not be reachable. If you have updates on shelters/volunteer groups/supply stops in or around the area, please reach us by DM and we will put those out on the air as soon as possible. Remember there is a curfew set (dusk until dawn) for those within the city limits and in the county that were in the line of the storm. We will also post updates on here as we find them.

WYMC has learned that former Mayfield broadcaster-Barney Webster has died in Mo as the result of Covid-19 Nov 4, 2020. He had previously owned KYMO in East Prairie, Mo. When Barney was only a teenager in Lynnville he built his own radio station. In 1963 the FCC put an end to that venture. He went on to work at WNGO radio, and was manager of the band The Discotees. Barney was a true broadcaster.

It was an action packed game from start to finish but sadly it ended with the Murray Tigers in the lead. Murray 28 to Mayfield's 21. It was a long final game bringing the Tigers to their third overtime.
