There has been an accident near Letcher Fire and Rescue at Spring Branch on Highway 7 South.

A helicopter is on the scene to transport two patients.

The road is back open, one lane only, and this area will be congested for a while.

* WHERE...The Dense Fog Advisory is for portions of east central, northeast, south central, and southeast Kentucky.

* WHEN...The Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10 AM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Volunteers will prepare and distribute food boxes for Southeast students and local families in collaboration with CES FRYSC.

🏛️ Knox Campus
📍 117 Shelby St, Barbourville, KY
• Student pick-up: 9–10 a.m.
• Community pick-up: 10 a.m.–12 p.m.
Food baskets available for students and home-health patients; deliveries as needed.

⛰️ Harlan Campus
📍 164 Ball Park Rd, Harlan, KY
• Community deliveries: 12–3:30 p.m.
Drivers will deliver boxes to area churches and Christ’s Hands.

🏞️ Whitesburg Campus
