It’s a one-of-a-kind Letcher County sports history program hosted by Greg “Bull” Creech that celebrates the great teams, legendary players, inspiring coaches, the games we’ll never forget and the unforgettable moments that shaped who we are.

This week, Bull’s special guest will be former coach and sports broadcaster Dave Hammond, who is the pastor at Faith Baptist Church at Myra.

In this great one hour chat, Dave talks about growing up in central Kentucky, taking the coaching job at Fleming Neon at the urging of Whitesburg’s own Hoover Darrel Niece. He talks about his near 20 year sports broadcasting career, his work with UPS and how sports led him to the ministry.

Telehealth Changes for Medicare Patients TODAY October 1, 2025
Due to Federal Government Shutdown
Telehealth visits from your home are no longer covered under Medicare for medical visits. You will need to go to a MCHC clinic to receive in-person or telehealth services.
Behavioral Health Services: Telehealth for behavioral health services will remain available.
If you have Medicare and have a telehealth appointment with us soon, we’ll help you understand how this affects you.

🚧 City of Whitesburg Traffic Update 🚧

Blacktopping work will begin tomorrow morning, Tuesday September 30th on Stone Avenue.
Once crews are in place, traffic will be very limited, and vehicles may not be able to move freely through the area for a period of time.

We ask that drivers avoid Stone Avenue if possible.
