The nights are getting colder, the leaves are beginning to drop and we are officially starting to move into Spooky Season, thus, we will have TWO (count ‘em) TWO Spooky Sunday mystery screenings at the Maynard Fine Arts Theater this month and next month!! The first one is this coming Sunday, September 6 and it’s going to be a doozy!!!

Two absolutely stellar vinyl spins tonight. First up , we had the new album from John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies. “Cathedral” is a heavier outing from this trio than their previous Lost Themes releases and it just plain RIPS. Could be the best of the bunch. After that, I threw on Adam Wingard’s soundtrack for “The Guest 2.” A sequel that doesn’t exist but he made a soundtrack for it as if it did. It’s awesome.
