Judy M. Ward is proud to be the first African American woman mayor to serve the City of Pleasantville. The honorable mayor is gracious, genuine, and approachable. Integrity and a desire to help others top her list of qualities needed to work in city government. Although her public life is filled with meetings, luncheons, and events, at the end of the day, she is a wife, mother, and grandmother who loves to cook, bake, and spend time with her family. She credits her mother for providing a solid, caring upbringing that paved the way for her success today.

The air was filled with joy, laughter, and a spirit of generosity, as all the young individuals from Atlantic City experienced a day of festive fun and warmth. Held at the Walmart in Egg Harbor Township, this heartwarming event, sponsored by O.C.E.A.N. Inc., offered these youngsters a unique opportunity to choose gifts not only for themselves but also for their loved ones. This event not only brought happiness to the lives of these children but also played a crucial role in strengthening community bonds. By partnering with local law enforcement, O.C.E.A.N. Inc. fostered a positive atmosphere, encouraging better relationships between the youth and police officers, and spreading cheer during the holiday season.

Shop with a Cop Day spread smiles and happiness during a recent shopping event at Walmart. The true spirit of giving was evident as 250 kids from Atlantic City picked out gifts for themselves and their families. O.C.E.A.N. Inc. partnered with law enforcement officials from Brigantine, Atlantic City, and the NJ State Police to take the kids shopping to foster social justice and community police relations.

In the scorching heat of July, we sought to create something truly unique, and nature became our inspiration. Our journey began with video photography, as we at Lion Motion consider you to be a part of our family. Our aim is to foster creativity and encourage children and adults to think and express themselves in their own unique ways. This summer, we were fortunate to come across a remarkable child who had a passion for editing. However, we were curious to see how much he loved the camera as well. So, we handed him a camera and asked him to capture anything he desired. Upon his return, we carefully selected these videos and chose some of the quotes that will inspire us everyday. Presenting our very first motivational quotes video by the talented Mishael McFarlane. We couldn't be prouder of you!

Friday, June 23, 2023, was a special day for Ideal Institute of Technology. After an early morning shower, sunshine broke through the clouds as graduates and their families gathered on the grounds of the Ideal Business and Technology Hub in Pleasantville to celebrate achievement and success. Guest speakers offered uplifting, encouraging words: Learn, work, and earn to find the path that you want to pursue; take pride in your accomplishments; shine your light so all can see; finding your career pathway is not age related, you can discover it anytime. The outdoor event ended on a high note as families and guests were treated to lunch prepared in the We Are AC food truck.
