OFFICIAL INFORMATION FROM THE City of Falmouth, KY:

FALMOUTH, KENTUCKY: There is a MANDATORY EVACUATION being put into place effective immediately.

Residents are being given until 8:00 PM tonight April 5th to leave town. After 8:00 PM the utility services are not guaranteed. At some point this evening, access to the City of Falmouth will be limited. At some point utilities will be shut off as we cannot offer these services.

If you think your house is safe from water, you may not have utilities and rescue emergency responders may not get to you.

If you need your utilities shut off, please contact 859-654-6540. The prediction numbers are what we have at this point and subject to change.

Now is the time to leave.

We have received several reports of water over roadways across the region. Multiple incidents have also been reported with vehicles hydroplaning and operators losing control. Exercise caution. Do not drive in flooded areas.
