Even if you don't have a garden or your garden was completely sabotaged by grass seed filled soil 🙋‍♀️🫣... there are still ways to preserve the season's bounty at the peak of it's freshness!
Grocery stores (last resort 😏), farmer's markets, or friend & family's abundance can set you up just as nicely as growing it yourself!

Thankful for family who shares their pickings with me and for the ability to still stock my shelves with beautiful nutrition.
Thanks Dad! 😁

Next year's garden strategizing has already begun 😅 and I'm excited to share, that I picked up the camera again today..

Grace abounds ❤️

Take care of the land and the land will take care of you ❤️
Thankful for this sweet return on investment today.. after a hot, difficult morning of working sheep, this is just the replenishing I needed.

God's timing is perfect.

It's that time of year (for me, at least) where I just want to stay infront of the fireplace, sipping something warm, under my blanket, scrolling my phone.. aaaaall day long!
It's against everything in my flesh to demand productivity.
This is my season of "rest" and I do allow myself to indulge in the downtime.. but my mind can only stay idle for so long, because the next season is well on its way, like it or not!

A successful summer garden requires winter planning.. just like a summer body requires winter diet & exercise.. just like a more padded bank account requires intentional budgeting & saving.

We all have goals we're chasing and there are often sacrifices we must make to achieve them.
Our household has slowly but surely gotten the new year ball rolling and as comfortable as it would be to slip back into old ways.. our eyes are fixed on what's ahead!

All that being said- tomorrow starts a 3 week long fast, to include social media.. so I'll be away, working on keeping up the new year momentum and seeking the Lord.

Blessings, friends ❤️
