Casting Notice:

For an upcoming local theatrical horror production slated for Halloween weekend at Struthers Library Theatre, we are seeking non-union actors for the following roles:

• Kipps - male, aged 50+. Plagued by a harrowing, mysterious tale of loss he is compelled to share through performance, in the hopes of averting further disaster. Stoic. Distant. Weathered by time and trauma.
• The Actor - Male, aged 25+. A plucky actor hired to help Kipps realize his strange, dark tale. Optimistic. Confident. A natural performer and salesman. Full of pep, and maybe a little naïveté. Younger than Kipps.
• The Woman - Age 21+, any gender (will appear in Victorian woman’s dress). A very minimal rehearsal commitment, and a light line load. Face will be obscured by wardrobe and lighting effects.

Rehearsals will be coordinated based on actors’ availability and will take place near Mayville, NY and Warren, PA August-October.

Performances: October 30th through November 2nd. Struthers Library Theatre, 302 W Third Ave, Warren, PA 16365.

Further production and audition details will be provided to those selected. All ethnicities, gender identities, shapes, sizes, and experience levels are encouraged to submit.
