**THIS MAP IS THE AUGUST 12, 2045 ECLIPSE: I HAVE THE APRIL 8 ECLIPSE MAP POSTED IN THE COMMENTS ALONG WITH A COOL INTERACTIVE MAP OF THE APRIL 8 ECLIPSE**

After April 8, the next chance to witness a total solar eclipse in Oklahoma will be on August 12, 2045. The Tulsa metro is extremely fortunate to be right near the center of the totality path with 5 min and 36 seconds of totality expected!

That said, I STRONGLY recommend making plans to witness totality on April 8!! The difference between seeing the sun 99% covered to 100% totality is unmeasurable. 99%, while still very cool, will not come remotely close to the spectacular and inspiring awe those in the path of totality will see!
