The Airlift/Tanker Association is dedicated to ensuring that American military forces continue to have the air mobility capability required to implement U.S. national security strategy. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a forum for people interested in improving the capability of U.S. mobility forces. As you well know, many organizational changes have and are taking place in t
he military today. On 1 June 1992, AMC joined a rich tanker and airlift legacy that will serve to provide “Global Reach for America.” Our association has also joined together the airlift and tanker heritage to support the Air Force mobility mission. An advocate for air mobility issues, our National Organization is supported by numerous chapters around the world and a large corporate membership. The National Organization publishes a quarterly magazine, sponsors a young leadership award program, and hosts an annual convention every fall. Our local chapter is committed to professional development and strategically communicating how the tanker mission is vital to national security through rapid global mobility. We also sponsor the installation's Memorial Walk where we dedicate new memorials annually every Memorial Day and pay homage to our base's rich history of airpower.
