Police said Armando Salazar stole brisket from H-E-B and Walmart locations in Buda, as well as stores in Manor and Austin.

Somehow in the hustle of the past week I forgot to mention that we celebrated our 32nd birthday as Riverport BBQ on December 3rd! Thank you all for being so great to us for over 3 decades!

Surprised my best friend in Indianapolis last night, but knew I needed to get some BBQ today. Hit Trax BBQ in NE Indy. Everything was tremendous on the platter, but the sauces (8 of them available) are the absolute stars. Everything from sweet to spicy, plus a mustard-based one. Perfect bite on the rib, tremendous pulled pork, and the Mac and cheese is among the best I’ve ever had. If you’re in Indianapolis, go see them and try every single sauce! And got to meet Andrew, the owner. He’s got an incredible culinary background and is bringing high quality ‘cue to a place that needs it!

Been too long since I’d been by to see one of the OG’s of Texas BBQ, Stephen Joseph at Riverport Bar-B-Que in Jefferson, TX. You can find amazing Texas Trinity (and the best beans in the business) plus hunt for Bigfoot all in one day. Go pay them a visit!
