Will learn basic strumming patterns, keeping rhythm, basic scales and theory and chords, lots and lots of them
Focused on age groups 8-15, nowadays with the technology we have, I expect my students aged over 15 to be between intermediate to advanced levels.

Focused on all age groups
Will learn advanced music theory as a basis for everything. Will learn how to move scales and chords into one another and basic composition skills as far as arrangement of songs. Will learn advanced chords and alternate tunings, how to tune a guitar by ear (which I feel is super-important and a lacking skill nowadays), and basic guitar FX if their plan includes electric guitar.

Advanced level guitar lessons
These are focused on high-end clients, who are already very well versed on guitar, but want to customize a program with me to tailor a very specific need. Consultative services for this package are free for 1 hour.
FX Usage Instruction and Training
Beginner
30 mins – $35

Will learn all about compressors and how they are going to define your tone going forward on electric guitar. Will learn how to properly assemble a pedalboard and which order the FX “should” go in to sound the best and be the most responsive to your playing. Will learn the difference between modulation pedals, overdrive/distortion/fuzz pedals, and tone composition.

Intermediate level FX training
Will learn an introduction to MIDI devices and how they can be used to control and modify your guitar and bass signals. Will learn advanced applications of all major types of FX pedals, including how to digitally build a rack in recording software to emulate the sound you dial in on your analog pedals.
