Moxie smelled a grey fox in our back yard late the other night (way before she could’ve possibly seen him).

She gave me a very low growl to warn me, which was just enough time for me to get a glimpse of him sneaking across the yard.

It was a proud moment for this maligator mom. And it wasn’t the first sighting either.

Apparently we have a grey fox living in our mystical backyard. Which isn’t great news for the chickens next door. Lol! 🔥❣️🦊

Apparently gray fox sightings are so rare, NJ Fish & Wildlife wants me to send video I have of Fredd Fox to them. (My brother is a forester in NJ and I guess he mentioned to someone that I have a gray fox here.)

Fredd here steals Trapper’s (and Pumpkin’s, who I haven’t seen since last August) food and leave the bowls on my cousin’s property next door. 🙄😂. Yesterday evening I saw Fredd and I went back to see if Trapper was still eating. Luckily, Trapper was finished because Fredd here will bully him. Methinks Fredd scared our little red fox, Foxxy Brown, off.

This is why it’s really important Trapper John gets used to me and can get along with the others. The only way he’s guaranteed regular meals is to learn to eat in the yard. Fredd here would never get that close to me. Gray foxes are even more elusive than red foxes.

Fredd sure is a handsome little feller, though. Isn’t he? 🥰

“Bubbles” looked a little hangry this afternoon when I finally lifted her lid after several long weeks of neglect due to health challenges here on the farm. Don’t worry.. Itvwssnt that bad.. she was in the fridge the whole time.

Thankfully this forgiving girl is as sturdy as she is sweet. She is regularly blessed with the highest of vibrations and
only the best organic ingredients.

It’s also good to know that a little “booch” on the top of your sourdough strrer never hurt anyone and it actually brings out the sassy side this 100 year old San Francisco sourdough starter.

“Bubbles” lightened right up after a proper feeding and is back to her positively sweet self. In fact, she is eager to become the best part of your own home kitchen!

If you’re in the neighborhood come on by! We are always taking orders for a freshly fed batch of this incredible starter that will provide years of value to your own home sourdough baking.

We will be bringing brownies to the Redwood Acres Flea Market on April 6th!

Who thinks I should try this recipe and bring samples? 🤩🤩

HOT FUDGE BROWNIE BREAD 😋😋
Ingredients
1 box of Brownie Mix
1-11 oz. jar of Hot Fudge Sauce
3 large Eggs
1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
A bread loaf pan
How To Make Hot Fudge Brownie Bread
Step 1: Add the brownie mix, hot fudge sauce, eggs, and vegetable oil in a medium bowl. Combine until smooth.
Step 2: Transfer the batter into a non-stick greased loaf pan until about 3/4 full.
Step 3: Place inside the oven and bake for about 45 minutes at 350 degrees or until cooked through.
Step 4: Remove from the oven and cool completely in the pan. You have to be patient or your bread will stick in the pan and your bread will lose its bottom.
