Hello, beloved Facebook Family and Friends! Today is a day of celebration and honor for my beloved Princess, my Mini-Me, my Baby Girl Janiya! As I pen down these words, my heart swells with both joy and sorrow. College is meant to be the pinnacle of one's life, yet my dearest Janiya has faced the unimaginable loss of the two most significant men in her life, her big brother Dre and her Dad Andre, during her college journey.
The pain and anguish she endured led to countless days and nights filled with the desire to surrender and return home. However, through the power of prayer and constant reminders of her strength, resilience, and the loving guidance of God, she persevered. She pushed through the darkness, always remembering that she could do it and that her departed loved ones were watching over her, urging her to make them proud. And she did just that—she made it!
Grandma Norma, Granddad Brin, Dre, and her DaDa are undoubtedly beaming with pride and joy from above. Janiya, my daughter and friend, I am bursting with pride to call you mine. 🥰🥳 Today, I encourage you to go forth and leave your mark on the world, for the sky is the limit.
