A little about our founder Safa Amiri and his vision: He is a chemical engineer by training, but he is also a musician and violinist. He has seen firsthand the challenges many artists face, which is why he started the Artist Spotlight on Radio Safa and also founded Safa Music Academy—to help support, promote, and connect talented artists.

Artists have not always had access to a reliable global platform where they can be discovered, collaborate, and showcase their skills. That’s what he is here to help create: a welcoming community where artists can connect, grow, and be heard.

Check out Antony’s interview and music—and please share, support, and spread the word! 🎤🎸

🎙️ NEW RADIO SAFA EPISODE IS OUT! 🎶

What does it take to go from performing other people’s stories to writing and singing your own?

We sat down with Anthony Zwerdling ( ),Doctor of Musical Arts, classical vocalist, music educator, and singer-songwriter — for a conversation about the many chapters of a life in music.

Anthony takes us from his early days with the San Francisco Boys Chorus and performing at the Super Bowl, to the realities of building a career in classical music, the importance of breathing and vocal technique, and his transition from opera singer to independent songwriter.

🎵 And yes — he performs LIVE! Anthony shares two original songs, “Wishing Well” and “Full Circle,” and the stories behind them.

We also talk about rejection, discipline, persistence, and something we believe deeply at Radio Safa: artists deserve the opportunity to tell their own stories and be heard.
