The Warren County Master Gardeners Club spent Saturday morning planting foliage, flowers and plants to put the finishing touches on the latest Habitat for Humanity home in Warren County.

The Habitat for Humanity build crew has spent the last 10 weekends working on the home with the help of close to 150 volunteers! The Master Gardeners stepping in to handle the landscaping brings the house one step closer to becoming a home.

The Warren County Middle School boys soccer team’s perfect season came to an end in the TSSAA State Championship, the Pioneers fell 7-0 to Brentwood.

Warren County won the district, regional and sectional championships and advanced to the state tournament as one of the best middle school teams in Tennessee with a record of 17-0.

The Southern Standard and the entire Warren County community appreciates everything this team accomplished. What a season, Pioneers!

The WCMS boys soccer team took down Sevier County 2-1 tonight to punch their ticket to the title game. The Pioneers will play at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning at the Richard Siegel Soccer Complex.

The French Country vintage store features boutique clothing, custom-made pillows, ironstone creamers, gravy boats, butter pats and vignettes. Every piece has a story to tell.
