Bunnies and Butterflies. 🐰 🦋

I collabed with my 5 year old on this one. He wanted yellow flowers and a yellow cake. No objections. 🤣 we compromised on a pink heart with rather than a red and blue one. And then he specifically picked where the butterflies and bunnies went. The kid knows what he wants. Like mother, like son lol.

I know IG doesn’t like photos and they’ve tanked my views for it, but whatevs. There is so much photos capture that video doesn’t. So 😝.

Went to get flowers and be insisted I get yellow. And that my cake be yellow. With a heart. And then wanted butterflies and bunnies. And you know what? I was happy to oblige. It was so fun getting his creative direction. And I love how this little guy came out.

Turtles + florals. 🐢 🌸

I collabed with my 3 year old on this one. He picked the flowers and the colors, I decorated (with his approval), and he requested turtles be added. (They are his favorite.)

It was so fun! And the next cake to be shared will be another collab, this time with my oldest!

See the hidden turtles? Hehe. This is a collab with my 3 year old! He picked the flowers and then we decided cake colors together. I decorated and he wanted his fave, turtles, on there so we added a couple where he wanted.

Toadstool heart. 🍄 🐸

One of my fave cakes ever. OMG was this fun. And boy does it make me happy to look at.

The frogs and mushrooms are meringue. It was my first time making shaped meringues like that and gosh is that hard! But I definitely will be doing that again.

The middle of the heart is gelatin. I made it too dark of a blue, so next time I’ll be more aware. But I still think it looks neat! And it firmed up and didn’t mean everywhere so a win is a win. 🙌🏻🤣

I just had to take this guy outside for pics. Isn’t that natural light so dreamy? ✨

Listen, the fire could be maple leaves. According to my son it’s coral. But we tried. And sometimes the vision doesn’t come to life how we wanted. But that sparkle? She’s a vibe. The piping? Getting better. And is it fun? Heck yes. And that’s good enough for me today.
