Dear McPherson Community,
My name is Dora, and I am the owner of La Jefa Mexicana here in McPherson. Writing this is not easy for me, but I believe in being honest and asking for help when it’s truly needed.
La Jefa Mexicana is more than just a restaurant to me. It is my dream, my hard work, and my way of sharing my culture and love for Mexican food with this community. I opened my doors with hope, pride, and the belief that good food and good service would bring people together.
Unfortunately, business has been very slow, and I am struggling to keep my restaurant open. If things do not improve, I may be forced to close. This breaks my heart, but I want to be transparent with the community that I care so deeply about.
If you have ever enjoyed a meal at La Jefa Mexicana, if you believe in supporting local small businesses, or if you simply want to help a local family keep their dream alive, I humbly ask for your support. Coming in for a meal, sharing our page, telling a friend, or leaving a kind review truly makes a difference.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far. Your kindness means more than you know. I am still here, still cooking with love, and still hoping to serve McPherson for many years to come.
