Today Hollow Oak Press launched its fourth anthology. So much work goes into each of these books, and we don’t have a big team. When you see our graphic design or our marketing, that’s us. The project management, the accounting, the events, the ARC campaign—that’s all us. We all have full-time jobs and families outside of the press, so while this pace might not seem like much compared to other independent houses, I know how much we pour ourselves into this work, in the spaces in between everything else we do. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished.

Friends, in honor of our book launch today, I’m not celebrating with a big party. Instead, I’m celebrating by honoring the theme of our newest book, and having a cozy night in. I’m so proud of what we’ve done, and I look forward to what’s to come. But right now? I’m going to enjoy this moment 🧡📚
