BIGLER, TEAM XMR RECOVER FOR 12TH PLACE FINISH

YORK HAVEN, Pa. (September 26th 2020) Daulton Bigler and the Xtreme Motorsports team headed to BAPS Motor Speedway on Saturday for Creekside Auto Sales Late Model competition. Bigler scored his third win of the season at BAPS the previous week and had high expectations heading into Saturday night.

Daulton drew pill #32 to start the evening which lined him up 4th in the 2nd heat race. As the green flag waved on heat #2, Daulton found himself dodging cars on the front straightaway, nearly losing control but saving it, and coming out with the lead heading into turn #1 after an extremely impressive display of driving. Bigler cruised to victory in the heat and earned himself a spot in the invert.

As the winner the previous week, Daulton had to start at the back of the invert. The inversion was a 4, placing Daulton in the 4th starting position for the feature event. Bigler charged to the front during the early laps of the race and engaged in a fierce battle with the leader. While working around a lapped car contact was made, cutting down Bigler’s right rear tire. The crew got the tire changed and Daulton was able to climb back to a 12th place finish.

“We had such a great car all night, and definitely the one to beat, but it just wasn’t meant to be. To be leading and end up having your tire shred, it’s tough. I’m just glad we know we have a car to win every week, and I have an absolute blast driving it. We’ll work on it and have another shot next race.”

BIGLER WINS THIRD OF THE YEAR

YORK HAVEN, Pa. (September 19th 2020)
Daulton Bigler and the Xtreme Motorsports Racing team headed to BAPS Motor Speedway on Saturday night for Creekside Auto Sales Late Model competition. The night started off with the team discovering distributor issues prior to hot laps as the car would not fire. The team was able to get it changed and get the car ready for the heat race.

Daulton rolled off from the seventh starting position in the third and final heat race. Bigler wasted no time once the green flag waved on the field, methodically working his way to the front with the hammer down on the inside of the speedway. Daulton finished a strong second in the heat, locking himself into the feature invert.

The inversion was a six for the feature, resulting in Daulton being placed on the pole for the main event. Bigler drove away from the field, leading all twenty laps on his way to scoring his third win of the season in impressive fashion.

“We had a great car all night. I knew it was gonna be tough coming from last in the heat, but the car was so good, it really set us up for a good chance at the redraw. Fortunate enough to get the pole and stayed there, but couldn’t do it without all my guys because of the electrical problems we were having all night. They did great and glad I could get them another win.”

WOLFE POCKETS $2,000 AND LOCKS INTO THE 2021 TUSCARORA 50

PORT ROYAL, Pa. (September 12th 2020)
Lucas Wolfe and the Barshinger Racing were in action this weekend at Port Royal Speedway to kick off the month of money in central Pennsylvania.

On Saturday night, Wolfe scored an important confidence boosting victory in the $2,000 to win non-qualifier feature.

Wolfe took the lead near the halfway point of the race and didn’t look back. With the victory, Lucas is locked into the 2021 Tuscarora 50. Even though it might not have been the big one, the team will hope to carry the momentum into a busy upcoming schedule with many high paying races on the horizon.

BIGLER SHOWS SPEED AGAIN AT BAPS

YORK HAVEN, Pa. (September 5th 2020) Daulton Bigler and the Xtreme Motorsports Racing team headed to BAPS Motor Speedway on Saturday night for another night of Late Model competition.

Daulton drew a high pill number which relegated the XMR 24 to the 8th starting position in the first heat race. As the green flag waved on the heat, Bigler put the hammer down and began a charge toward the front. Daulton was able to finish 3rd, putting himself in a redraw position.

Following the redraw, the feature lineup was set with Daulton starting in 5th. As the race began, Bigler found himself battling with several drivers inside the top five. Around the halfway point in the feature, Daulton found speed around the bottom of the track and began to pick off cars who were running the outside. Bigler was battling for 3rd position when contact was made with another driver which resulted in both cars stopping on the inside of the second turn. The incident ended Bigler’s night, he was scored with a 23rd place finish.

While the result did not reflect it, Daulton and the team were extremely happy with the performance of the car. “The car was great, my tires were finally coming in and I really think we had a good piece to compete for the win.”

BIGLER 5TH IN HISTORIC LATE MODEL 50

YORK HAVEN, Pa. (August 22, 2020)
Daulton Bigler and the Xtreme Motorsports Racing team headed to BAPS Motor Speedway on Saturday night for the Historic Late Model 50. Bigler and the team hoped to continue to build on recent success at BAPS which includes two victories already on the season.

Daulton started 6th in Heat #1 and was able to work his way into a 4th place finish which earned the team a crucial spot in the redraw for the feature.

The Xtreme Motorsports Racing #24 was put on the pole for the Historic 50 lap main event. Daulton started the race off strong, leading several laps. It took the car several laps to get the tires to fire off on restarts as the team opted for a harder compound. Bigler was able to bring home a solid 5th place finish.

WOLFE RACES TO 8TH PLACE FINISH AT WILLIAMS GROVE

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (August 14 2020) The Barshinger Racing team headed to Williams Grove Speedway Friday with hopes of building on a Top-5 finish from two weeks ago.

Wolfe started the night by drawing the 3rd starting spot in the 2nd heat race. Lucas made a move to get into 2nd place early on and was able to maintain position. The finish landed Wolfe a spot in the redraw.

The green flag waved on the feature event with Wolfe battling for position throughout the 25 lap main. Wolfe was able to bring the Barshinger Racing #24 home in the 8th position as the checkered flag waved. Wolfe moved up to 10th in the Lawrence Chevrolet point standings.

BIGLER SCORES FOURTH TOP TEN IN FIVE RACES

NEWBERRYTOWN, Pa. (August 8, 2020)
Daulton Bigler and the Xtreme Motorsports Racing team headed to BAPS Motor Speedway on Saturday. Prior to the racing action, Kids Night festivities took place giving fans the chance to meet some of their favorite drivers.

A strong field of 32 Creekside Auto Sales Late Models signed in for action. Daulton started the night strong with a 2nd place finish in the 3rd heat race.

The Xtreme Motorsports Racing #24 rolled off 12th for the feature event. Daulton worked the middle and bottom of the track early on in the main event before moving up to the top side of the speedway searching for more speed. Bigler was able to bring it home in 8th place, scoring his fourth Top 10 finish in just his fifth race of the 2020 season.

Bigler and the Xtreme Motorsports Racing team have been off to a hot start, picking up two victories at BAPS and Hard Charger honors at BAPS and Port Royal Speedway.
