It’s always in the details for me…
A few weeks ago I was given the opportunity to photograph just a week and half old baby. New born isn’t necessarily my ‘speciality’ so I felt a little nervous going into it. Babies can be tricky because they’re unpredictable. My goal going into the shoot was to get those raw and natural moments and boy oh boy did we capture them. This little nugget was such a trooper and I’m pretty obsessed with how these photos turned out. 😌

Life is busy and I haven’t been making as much time for my photography, but I’m hoping to change that. ✨

Precious smiles from the little munchkin. 🤍 This was one of the first baby photo shoots I did in a very long time – about 3 years to be exact. I felt a little ~nervous~ going into it because I knew it was out of my comfort zone and as we all know babies can be quite unpredictable. They also don’t normally LOVE a big ole camera lens in their face. Can we blame them?! McCoy was such a trooper though… he was happy as long as his mama was giving him hugs, kisses and throws in the summer air.
Something I’ve been really focusing on is trying to get my subjects in their most pure and natural state. Sometimes it takes a whole 45 minutes to an hour before we get the giggly smiles like the ones captured here. But oh gosh it’s always so worth it. Moments like this captured to hold onto forever. To me that’s priceless…
Mommy & Me might have to be a new thing I do much more. 💕 📸

This little guy got to see his Mom & Dad get married again with all of their family and friends around. What a special memory. I also had the honor of doing a little Mommy & Me session the next morning so stay tuned for that cuteness. ✨ 📸

It was truly such an honor to photograph my first bride this past weekend. I’ve always loved the intimate moments captured leading up to the big ceremony. And I just can’t help the soft spot in my heart for black & white. Something about it is so romantic, timeless and beautiful. Thank you Sierra for allowing me to capture you on this special day. I got full body chills when she put on that dress. Mmmm my heart. More to come. ✨
