Privileged to be a part of Scouting America, New Birth of Freedom Council's Eagle Recognition Dinner last evening - over a decade and counting! There are a lot of outstanding young adults in our midst!

I've been working on a new video flypak (a single case with lots o' gear wired and ready) to expedite load-in and setup. It took a few weeks in the shop to configure (the spaghetti is during the initial configuring), rehearse a few shows, and maximize functionality. Last night's dinner was it's first outing and it was superb! We learned a lot and took copious notes on mods that will be done next week. There will be more rehearsing to ensure it's ready for December events!

Basically, we can send any signal anywhere and add your proprietary laptop to the production on the fly. I'm just happy with the tidy tables. Also had the Canon PTZ cams along and Obsidian NXTouch lighting console.

Well, he got me! Way better than a performer's rider – a document that lists the specific needs, requests, and requirements the artist or presenter has for their performance – magician Kyle Purnell and I met for breakfast to plan his upcoming show and I got a front row seat to being baffled! Pretty sure he stumped Penn & Teller with this one so what chance did I really have? What a super guy and talented performer!

A stage or riser and a few panels of pipe & drape can completely elevate (you got that one, right?) the dynamic of your conference or meeting. They're not just for large groups. An 8x12' or 8x16' 8" tall riser in a conference room does 2 things: It permits your attendees to better see the presenters, especially seated panel discussions, and gives your presenters more prestige and better audience connection.

Our new 4x4' stage decks deploy quickly without the need for a freight elevator and we have both 8" and 16" risers depending on your overall ceiling height. DSMs (Down Stage Monitors, or Confidence Monitors) are the TVs in front of the stage displaying content such as slides, videos, online attendee galleries, timers, and Q&A - and can be changed during the program.
