Can we make the hike to the tunnel?? We parked the Bronco and hiked the Blue Ridge Tunnel Trail in Nelson County, Virginia, straight through an 1850s railroad tunnel under the mountain. The walk out was a lot harder than the walk in! 😅 Have you been to the Blue Ridge Tunnel yet?

Before Bigfoot hits Big Levels / Bald Mountain in Part 2, Hillary, Liam, and I spend the day exploring Waynesboro, stopping for food, checking out the Blue Ridge Tunnel, and getting ready for the trail ride the next morning.

The tunnel is 4,273 feet long, completely dark inside, and easily one of the coolest stops we’ve made on a Bronco road trip.

If you've ever changed the oil in a 6th gen Bronco, you know the drill: jack it up, pull a dozen bolts, wrestle 30 pounds of steel skid plate onto the garage floor, change the oil, then do the whole thing again in reverse. Every five thousand miles.

I finally got tired of it. In walks Asfir!

This aluminum front skid plate has an access door built right into it. Drain plug is sitting right there. Oil change done without the plate ever leaving the truck. It's also about 5lbs lighter than the factory steel, which you feel the first time you're holding it over your head.

Put the whole install on the channel this week, including the fitment quirks nobody warns you about and an honest answer on whether the aluminum is actually worth the price jump over steel.

Erin Long brought her 2022 Outer Banks to Pigeon Forge and gave us the full tour — Quake LED lights EVERYWHERE (TrailSight Deletes, Monster Pods, fog lights + 8 underbody lights in every wheel well) and a DS18 audio setup that absolutely BOOMS — 2x 10" subs, 4 pods, custom paint and amps.

You gotta hear it to believe it — and yes, she runs it all in PINK! 💗

We spent a couple days getting Bigfoot washed and waxed for Maggie Valley — and the Smokies delivered. What started as Broncos in the Valley is now a full Ford show: Mustangs in the Valley, Moonshine Valley F-100s, vendors, swap meet, classic trucks, and Broncos as far as you can see.

FORD BRONCO TAKEOVER IN MAGGIE VALLEY! 🔥

Maggie Valley was crawling with Broncos and custom 4x4s!

We spent the evening checking out everything from classic Ford builds to heavily modified Broncos, talking with people around the event and taking in the atmosphere before getting ready to do it all over again Saturday morning.
