Hello — I wanted to share an important update on my niece Diana’s condition, as she continues to fight through unimaginable challenges. Recently, Diana was transferred to the plastic surgery unit due to complications from a medical error. A deep cleaning of her injured leg was performed in her regular room instead of a surgical room, resulting in a serious infection. This infection has spread throughout her leg, causing tissue damage and preventing doctors from proceeding with essential bone realignment procedures.
On October 28th, Diana underwent her eighth surgery to begin aligning her broken bones, but due to the persistent infection, she is now in isolation and under intensive care.
This setback has added to the already overwhelming medical expenses. Any further support you could provide would be deeply appreciated by Diana and her family as they face this difficult road ahead. Every donation, prayer, and share of her story truly makes a difference.
