Owning a small business—especially a retail store—isn’t always easy or glamorous. But this week reminded me exactly why we do what we do.

Over the years, our little shop has become more than just a place to find PNW gear—it’s become a community. So many of you who first walked in as customers have now become true friends. And yes… part of that might be because I (Tesha) tend to hold people hostage at the counter, keeping you way too long in conversation until you eventually cave and become my friend. 😉

This week especially, we felt the love. From swapping stories about travels, new jobs, family, house construction and even favorite hot springs—you reminded us that what we’ve built together is so much more than a store.

Thank you for showing up, for sharing your lives with us, and for letting us share ours with you.

A Proud Family Moment
On May 31st, we had the honor of watching our son Mateo marry his beautiful bride, Jaden. While Jaden has already been part of our family for the past six years, seeing them exchange vows was such a special moment.

We couldn’t be more proud of the life they’re building together and the love they share. Cheers to a lifetime of adventures, laughter, and love for these two.

Thirty participating farms and locations in both Jackson and Josephine counties will open their doors to visitors for the seventh annual Rogue Valley Farm Tour, offering people the chance to experience and taste the produce and products of Southern Oregon.

A peaceful pause before the whirlwind begins! Jav and I took a few days to celebrate 26 years together- hiking, hot spring soaking, and taking time to reflect on where we’ve been and where we’re headed. The next two months are full to the brim with store events, our son’s wedding, and an adventure to Havasu Falls!

We’re feeling recharged and laced up, ready to run full speed through July. Every day, I’m thankful to walk through this life with him by my side.
