Election Day! Don’t forget to vote, drop off your ballot on the way home or get a new one if you forgot to bring it, I just had to do that and it’s super easy. :). We always support voting and don’t normally support specific candidates, but this one is near and dear to us. Our neighbor just closed their restaurant permanently :(. We are struggling with the destruction of our own property, the loss of all of our female employees and many of our customers as well as the general desecration of our once beautiful and thriving downtown community. We believe there is a better path for our public library to take, or at least should have when implementing their services. The truth is that it has been a horrible situation and we need change, voting is they way! Thank you all and no matter who you vote for, come in and tell us you voted for a free Thai tea this week. :).

Our “Rancor” Ribs and rice were the hit of the galaxy for May the 4th :). Chashu Beef ribs and rice or Rib Pho are ready! 🤤.

Miss Noonie’s Spicy Fried rice 🔥 Neil only cried for 10 minutes after having a bite, so it’s rated about a 6/10 spicy but she can make it Thai spicy if you like some serious heat. Oh!! We received 2nd place this year for favorite eatery for the Smudge Pot Stroll! We will make a post soon. :).

Our Kitchen Air is out and our ice too! 😭. Neil is getting it fixed 😊. Sorry for the long weekend but we will be back up and going Tuesday. Enjoy this nice weather!

We have seen a Significant reduction in property destruction / theft and harassment of our employees and customers for the last couple of weeks! Why? Because of Northwest Defense! is now a safe place to visit! We are now a safe place to visit! 🙏. This has been such a heartbreaking and impossible challenge to face. We have not been able to keep our employees safe or shield them from horrid situations. We are compassionate to all, but we are beyond grateful for the steps that are being taken by the library to improve security as well as We had our employee tips stolen today and we were just thinking… wow, only once this week! Nobody broke in windows, only a few people tried to break into our cars and we didn’t have any major confrontations or worse. We are so sorry for any of the problems you have faced to come visit us. 😔. This next part is hard to read on…..but for the lady and her little girl that a man stood in front of the window and masturbated to we are so sorry. 💔 we have lost ALL of our sweet and wonderful female employees because of situations like this. It has been unsafe for everybody, the direct cost of loss has been significant and the indirect losses have been absolutely devastating. Please visit the library and please visit us for lunch and write to to tell them how much better it is! We need this security presence. We hope for a change in the way services are offered as well…This is a very complex situation. For now…. Oh we are so happy to have some improvement. ❤️.
