✨ Escape Close to Home — Medina Edition ✨

One of our favorite parts of The Fargo Escape Plan is discovering places that spark curiosity — even if they’re right down the road.

Operation Fandom Medina shop in Medina, OH is packed with retro games, toy collectibles, memorabilia, Pops, and stickers from just about every fandom you can imagine. Walking in felt less like shopping and more like wandering through pieces of our childhood.

It’s the kind of stop that reminds us adventure doesn’t always mean travel — sometimes it just means stepping into somewhere new.

A year ago today, Joe and I shared a VERY expensive ice cream on a cold, snowy day. Why? Because he was just released from the hospital, where he had spent 4 days in ICU after a traumatic head injury due to multiple brain bleeds and a fractured skull as a result of slipping on black ice to pick up our ice cream order that I was craving.
You have permission to celebrate survival in small, ordinary ways.
To mark hard anniversaries with soft moments.
To share an ice cream on a freezing day—not because it makes sense,
but because you’re still here together.
